We sat down with Roth after he broke the 35 year old high school 3000m steeplechase record in the semi-final of the World Junior Championships running 8:48. This interview took place before the final where he talked about refocusing for Sunday. In the final he went on to break the record again running an impressive 8:47, which was good for 10th place.
